Indian street food chain Chaiiwala has opened its second ever drive thru restaurant in the UK, this time in Mellor Brook.
Located in Preston New Road between Preston and Blackburn, the new restaurant is located in what was for many years a popular KFC.
The Mellor Brook restaurant joins other local Chaiiwala sites in Deepdale Road, Preston, as well as Blackburn and Bolton.

Announcing the launch of the restaurant on its Instagram account, Chaiiwala said: “Our 2nd ever Drive Thru has landed! 
After the success of Bolton, we had to bring you another one! 
”
The Mellor Brook restaurant marks the opening of Chaiiwala’s 112th store worldwide and it has capacity to seat more than 100 customers, the company claimed.
It is several years since the KFC branch closed its doors in Mellor Brook and it is understood the current renovation of the site has cost in the region of £500,000.
It will be operated by EG on the Move, which is run by Zuber Issa. Until recently Zuber was running supermarket giant Asda alongside his brother, Mohsin, before they went their separate ways.
