Preston North End have been locked out of the team’s social media account while on pre-season camp.

A statement has been released by the club explaining that they are unable to access their X, formerly known as Twitter, account.

This means they are currently unable to share any more new posts on the social media platform.

However, their other accounts and website are still running as normal.

The statement said: “Supporters should be aware that the club’s X account is currently locked.

“Due to an issue out of the club’s control, the account is temporarily unavailable to view and is inaccessible for new posts.

“Working with X and with the help of the EFL, the club hopes to have the account back up and running as soon as possible.

“In the meantime, the latest news and coverage of the Spain pre-season training camp will continue on all other social platforms and here on the club website. “

Preston North End face Lincoln City at Pinatar Arena in Campoamor in a pre-season friendly on Friday (12 July).
