The Red Arrows were spotted zooming past the city’s southern edge during Sunday afternoon.
Eagle-eyed Sonia Bashir was up in the attic to see the fly-past around 4.30pm.
Taking part in the Southport Air Show the famous flying formation was seen tearing across the South Ribble countryside – with Bretherton expecting the fly-past.
