Odd thing about the Stanley Cup playoffs running soooo loooong this past season: when the dream finally came crashing to an end there was scarcely any time to mourn or even to parse the results. Instead, after a seven-game final series that took a marathon 17 days to complete, it was instantly the off-season, and the Edmonton Oilers were late to the process.
