Three charged after vehicle stop and house search in Preston

Three men have been charged with drug offences after a vehicle stop and house searches in Preston this week.

As we reported earlier this week, police made four arrests following a proactive vehicle stop. Officers from Preston Task Force stopped a van on Muncaster Road on Monday (1 July) and found several thousand pounds in cash.​

A further search of multiple addresses found several kilograms of vacuum packed cannabis, two cannabis grows and £20,000.​

Kristian Zeqo, 37, of no fixed address has been charged with conspiracy to produce cannabis.​

Xhulian Selami, 28, of Carlton Street, Eccles and Amarildo Lushka, 28, of Muncaster Road, Preston have both been charged with conspiracy to produce cannabis and using, acquiring or possessing criminal property.​

All three appeared at Preston Magistrates’ Court yesterday (3 July) where they were remanded into custody to appear at Preston Crown Court on 31 July.​

A 22-year-old man who was also arrested has been released under investigation.
