A woman has been fatally stabbed at a home in Sydney's west.
Police were called to a house on the Great Western Highway in Kingswood, a suburb of Penrith, just before 2pm today.
Officers found a woman, believed to be in her 20s, with two stab wounds to her chest. Paramedics tried to revive her but she could not be saved.

The woman is yet to be formally identified.
Police have been told a 22-year-old man was seen running from the area.
A crime scene has been established.
There is no on going threat to the public, police said.
