IT is a busy year for the Mahomes family.
Dad Patrick will chase a historic three-peat with the Kansas City Chiefs when the NFL season begins next month.

And mom Brittany, 28, is nurturing their third child – a baby girl to join daughter Sterling Skye and son Bronze.
The former soccer star is keeping active during her pregnancy, sharing snaps of her workouts.
Her bump is still in its infancy but could be seen in her orange outfit as she performed squats.
Brittany also posed with Sterling at Arrowhead Stadium while watching Patrick in action.
The little girl looked adorable as she clutched a doll in her mom’s arms.
Patrick, 28, will not take to the field against the Chicago Bears tomorrow.
Head coach Andy Reid has decided he has seen enough from his starters as he looks to keep them fresh ahead of the Baltimore Ravens game on September 6.
“As far as the rotation goes for the Bears,” Reid said.
“I’ll probably sit the starters the way it looks right now and we’ll have the other guys get out there and play.
“We’ll just see how that goes repetition-wise.
“I look at the number of plays between (training) camp and preseason games.
“We were up some 50 plays from the year before in camp.
“So, I was able to monitor that and work it in with the preseason games.”
Star wideout Hollywood Brown is in doubt for Week 1 after suffering a sternoclavicular joint dislocation in preseason action.

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are expecting their third child, the power couple announced.
But Chiefs quarterback Mahomes insisted there won’t be any more.
“I’m done, I’ll say that,’ he told reporters at Chiefs training camp with a smile.
“I always said three [children] and I’m done. No, it’s awesome. I always wanted to have kids young.
“I got to grow up in the locker room. I think I’ve talked about it before, and it made such an impact in my life.
“And so, I wanted to have kids young and we’re having a third kid now to join our family.”
Mahomes cheered on a very different kind of football on Saturday.
Following their 24-23 loss to the Detroit Lions in their second NFL preseason game of the summer, the quarterback headed to CPKC Stadium to cheer on the National Womens Soccer League team the Kansas City Current.
Patrick and his wife Brittany are part owners in the franchise, which currently sits second in the NWSL table.
They cheered on their team from an executive suite as the Current took on Atletico de Madrid Femenino in The Women’s Cup championship game.
Joining them in the stands at the world’s first stadium built exclusively for a professional women’s team were Patrick’s teammates Travis Kelce, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Isiah Pacheco, Creed Humphrey, and Justin Watson.
In one of the snaps released by the team, the Chiefs stars beamed for the camera, with Patrick giving it a thumbs up while Kelce gave a peace sign.
