Charity Shop Rwanda is coming back to its former Preston city centre home for one day only.
The popular store, which closed in 2020 due to coronavirus, will hold a tabletop sale at the premises in Syke Street on Saturday 17 August.
The Preston charity behind the shop – Rwanda Group Trust – has continued to fundraise since the shop’s closure through sales, donations and events, raising an incredible £48,000 in 2023.

The premises is now occupied by SHOP, which is a space for community, art, culture, architecture and design.
A SHOP spokesperson said: “Get down for some sweet bargains and even sweeter memories of the almost 20 years this iconic shop occupied 3 Syke Street.
“Bric-a-brac, clothes, books, shoes and everything else you remember. Along with the chance to grab some exclusive prints of this well-loved shop.
“We are over the moon that this is happening and can’t wait to see you all there.”
The Return of Charity Shop Rwanda at SHOP will take place from 10.30am to 3pm on Saturday 17 August.
