Popular African Superstar CKay has announced new music coming on Friday.
The artist who last put out music in April has finally listened to the cries of fans and has promised music for Friday.
The new release titled Egwu Eji is heavily tuned to Highlife, cultural sounds, and chants.
This comes after the musician announced a couple of days ago his new jewellery piece was modelled after his self-given title of Africa’s boyfriend. He represented that the jewellery brings a new part of him to life.
It’s a fresh platform for the artist to drop music as it was announced recently that Love Nwantiti recently went 8x platinum.
Perhaps this could be one of the lead singles from his forthcoming album as a post on Instagram saw CKay tell a fan he would think about it when he was asked to drop the album.
The snippet released by Ckay a while ago has been met with positive reviews so far, as fans seem excited for the release and what it would offer.
Egwu Eji translates to ‘the main sound’ or ‘the happening song’ and one can only expect that and nothing less from CKay
