A court has today released bodycam footage to 9News of former television presenter Andrew O'Keefe being arrested over assault charges in 2021.
The footage obtained by 9News shows NSW Police officers knocking on O'Keefe's door in 2021, which goes smoothly at first until officers tell him he's being arrested.
The former game show host and TV presenter can be heard asking "why" he's being arrested before an officer responds "for assault and breaching an AVO".

O'Keefe can then be seen shouting "This is what happens when I don't have my medication…this is a very simple request, why are you being such f***ing n*zis about it."
Officers then struggle to handcuff O'Keefe, pushing him against the wall.
In a second clip from the arrest, O'Keefe can be seen in an elevator surrounded by police, when one officer can be heard saying "your attitude is not making it any better alright."
"Attitude? F— you man, this is not attitude… this is justifiable and righteous rage at the way I am being treated," O'Keefe can be heard saying in response.

The former TV presenter was later cleared of resisting arrest in relation to the incident.
But, he was found guilty of assault after kicking, pushing and spitting on a woman, in an attack the magistrate described as "violent and degrading".
He is currently appealing the criminal convictions.
He is also facing fresh, unrelated allegations of breaching an AVO, driving while suspended and under the influence of drugs.
