KANYE West’s Malibu, California mansion has been left completely trashed and in utter disarray after he finally sold it, shocking new photos show.

After six months on the market and a price drop of almost $15 million, the controversial rapper found a buyer for the abandoned beachfront home.

Kanye first listed his ultramodern beachfront gem for sale in December 2023.

The rapper bought it in 2021 and infamously gutted and abandoned it.

The home had been sitting in escrow, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The mansion was initially listed for $53 million (the price Ye bought it for), but he dropped it to $39 million in April 2024.

Kanye found a buyer for the home on July 30, 2024, according to TMZ.

The unknown buyer purchased the once-concrete wonder in horrendous shape, as seen in jarring new photos obtained by the U.S. Sun.

One image of its current condition shows two beer cans idly sitting on a ledge.

Another snap shows two large, rusty pipes that were once likely used as plumbing and are now disconnected.

Other images of the exterior show cut-outs where a glass window would be, but instead, there are no windows.

Not only have all of the windows been removed, but all interior features, like bathrooms or a kitchen, are seemingly missing. The exterior shows the balconies also covered in rust.

Even fundamental parts of the home, like floors on the ground level, are seemingly gone and now just sand.

DARK, TWISTED FANTASY

Japanese visionary Tadao Ando, 82, designed the home – the renowned architect has designed fewer than 20 private residences in the U.S.

The house was built in 2013 and became a notorious talking point when Ye decided to gut its whole interior despite its painstaking design.

Kanye West's homes

Kanye West owns multiple homes across California and Wyoming, two of which have fallen into disrepair.

The home was sold last month by Selling Sunset star Jason Oppenheim, who told People this makes for a blank canvas opportunity.

“What’s missing are the interiors,” he said.

“It’s priced to reflect the need for the interior finishes to be replaced. On the positive, it can be brought up to 2024 standards.”

The infamous reno was the focus of a damning New Yorker piece titled: “Kanye West Bought an Architectural Treasure—Then Gave It a Violent Remix.”

Kanye, 47, hired contractor Tony Saxon to gut the house’s interior, which would cost the new owner millions of dollars to restore.

Part of Kanye’s re-work vision included “turning the stairs into a slide,” the outlet wrote.

He enlisted Australian architect and his new wife Bianca Censori, 29, to help re-do it.

According to the New Yorker, contractor Saxon had her number on his phone under “Bianca architect.”

Tony Saxon later sued Kanye, claiming that Kanye owed him more than $1 million for his work, among other allegations.

Kanye has denied these claims, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Before being gutted, the Malibu home had four bedrooms with views of the Pacific Ocean from every room.

It is about 4,000 square feet and has about 1,500 square feet of exterior deck space.

The house is positioned closely against other properties along the beach, matching its neighbors in that each has a garage on the bottom.

After making the home his, the Chicago native had walls, doors, windows, and plumbing torn out.

The mansion, originally built in 2013, is now just two empty stories of gray concrete.

However, Kanye decided to sell his mansion and didn’t follow through with his vision—he said the walls were too gray for his liking.

The insider told Daily Mail that Kanye would only visit the house at sunrise and sunset: “when he said the color didn’t irritate him so much.”

“Eventually, he stopped going altogether,” they ended.
