Nigerian music star Oxlade is ready to make a big impact with the upcoming release of his debut album, Oxlade From Africa, this September.

In a video posted on his official social media account on Thursday, August 7, 2024, he announced that the album would drop on September 20, 2024.

This highly anticipated release marks a significant milestone in the artist’s career, which has been a decade in the making.

Oxlade has long been celebrated as one of Nigeria’s premier vocalists, earning acclaim for his musical talent. He kicked off 2024 with the infectious track ‘Arambabi,’ released on August 2nd.

His rise to fame globally was propelled by his 2022 viral hit ‘Kulosa,’ which became a global sensation and amassed over 344 million streams on Spotify, making it one of the most streamed Afrobeats tracks on the platform. Oxlade’s discography includes two EPs: Oxygene (2020) with tracks like ‘Away,’ and Eclipse (2021) featuring songs such as ‘Ojuju,’ among others.

He is set to join the likes of Tems and Young John as Nigerian acts who released their debut albums in 2024.

While the tracklist for his upcoming album, Oxlade From Africa, is yet to be unveiled, He joins a roster of anticipated album releases from artists like Fireboy DML with Adedamola, Wizkid with Morayo, Burna Boy with No Sign of Weakness, and Omah Lay with Clarity of Mind.
