A Preston gift box business has scooped a major award.

Happy Boxx was founded by Ayesha Master in 2020 and was shortlisted for the England Business Awards 2024.

And she revealed her business had won the ‘Best Gift Shop Category’ for the England Business Awards for the Lancashire Region.

Speaking to Blog Preston about her awards success, Ayesha said she was over the moon.

She said: “As a small business, winning this award is a meaningful recognition of the hard work, dedication and passion that has gone into building my business.

“It validates the countless hours and the risks taken to bring my vision to life. This award is not just a personal achievement but a testament to the trust and support of my team, customers, and community.

“It inspires me to continue striving for excellence and to set even higher goals for the future. A heartfelt thankyou to everyone who voted for us.”

The business began as a way for Ayesha to send small gifts to friends and family and, in her words, ‘promote self care, positivity and wellbeing’.

Originally starting life out of a box room, the business then partnered with Not On The High Street, along with Etsy and its own website and its success has grown from there.
