The city of Calabar is gearing up for the 2024 edition of the Calabar Entertainment Conference and Festival, a three-day celebration of creativity, innovation, food, drinks, and games.

Organized by Calabar’s leading urban radio station, Hit FM 95.9, the event will take place from October 9 to 11, 2024, at the Cultural Center Complex.

Since its inception in 2017, the Calabar Entertainment Conference (CEC) has provided a platform for conversations aimed at boosting the entertainment industry, with a special focus on Cross River State and the South-South region of Nigeria.

Over the years, the event has attracted 122 speakers, 25 sponsors from various industries, and more than 20,000 attendees. Notable personalities who have graced the event include 2 Baba, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Alibaba, Denrele Edun, Ubi Franklin, and Joey Akan.
