African music sensation Davido has been listed on Billboard‘s Honour Roll for this year’s R&B and Hip Hop chart toppers.
The list also featured global superstars like Beyonce, Cardi B, Eminem, Future, Kanye West, J Cole, 21 Savage, Doja Cat and more.
The Honor Roll was released by Billboard to celebrate digital artists globally for having a stellar year globally.
African acts Lojay and Tyla were also listed among other artists.
Nigerian media received backlash for not live reporting the show, and Davido took to his X platform to speak on the issue.
He said “My fans is all I need!!!!! Everybody know the p!! Make dem continue to dey whine themselves! DAVIDO IS ACTIVE!!”
The Honor Roll celebrates artists yearly for their contributions and successes on the charts and this year’s edition honoured R&B and Hip Hop acts, with Afrobeats artists making appearances on the charts.
