LOOKING FOR A DUPE?
As consumers continue to worry about inflated prices, many are reaching for dupes.
Dupes, short for “duplicate,” are cheaper alternatives to otherwise expensive or luxury products.
Those who bought dupes in the past often hid their purchases or were ashamed of them.
However, as prices continue to rise, dupes have become increasingly popular among Gen Z and millennial shoppers.
Meanwhile, another Dollar Tree fan has praised a home essential that costs less than $2 and is a dupe of a popular West Elm item.
And a Walmart shopper has discovered a travel cup that costs just $5 and is a dupe of the iconic Stanley Cup but is a fraction of the price.
