Edo Guber:  APC’s Okpebholo Leads After 16 LGAs Collated, Gets 235,773 Votes Ahead of Ighodalo’s 195,954

After results from 16 of 18 local governments in the Edo State governorship election were announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, APC candidate Monday Okpebholo leads PDP’s Asue Ighodalo by a little less than 40,000 votes.

INEC on Sunday afternoon said the collation would be taking a break before resuming to take the results for Oredo and Esan South East.

The Resident Electoral Commissioner said he could not give a definitive time of resumption because the officers were still on the field.

He, however, gave 5pm as the tentative time of resumption.

APC-  235,773 VOTES

LABOUR PARTY- 8,682 VOTES

PDP- 195,954 VOTES
