Anne (@growwithanne_), a finance TikToker, said she charges about $50 per hour for her services, per a recent video.
She explained to viewers the side hustle requires that you text a “lonely person” for an extended period.
“You give overall advice on relationships, emotional support, life coaching, and so much more,” Anne wrote.
It also has “unlimited potential,” according to the TikToker.
Given that those who perform it can set their hours and rates, you could effectively make over $500 per day, depending on time constraints.
Anne showed that she’d made around 300,000 NGN (Nigerian Naira) in about one week, or around $181.
The “life coaching” side hustle is made possible through Fiverr, a company that offers freelance services.
Anne referred to it as “Fiverr Friends,” but there is no such platform.

However, Fiverr does offer a section of freelancers who specialize in friendship services, per its website.
For those interested, folks can join Fiverr and describe the services you can offer, including specialized life coaching, relationship advice, etc.
It’s best to include some pictures of yourself and a description of what it is exactly you can offer those who’d pay for services, your experience, and other details.
There are many other people already offering similar advice as Anne, with rates as low as $5 and as high as $300.
A median range is around $25 per hour, according to the Fiverr website.
Those looking for side hustles with the potential for more money or a more hands-on approach have several other options.
Side hustles and tax implications
Extra income you make from side hustles may need to be reported to the IRS.
If you receive more than $600 in gross payouts from a selling platform like eBay, the site will issue you a Form 1099-K to use in your tax return.
Individuals should calculate their adjusted gross income, taxable earnings, and deductions for the year.
Once they have that, they can use the 1040-ES form to calculate estimated taxes.
