The Joined Up Summit will see experts and decision-makers from the worlds of employment, social care, criminal justice, business and the Government – including Children’s Commissioner Rachel de Souza – join 16-25-year-olds to build a brighter future for young people.

The Summit – the first of its type – aims to break down barriers between different youth sectors and promote a “new era of joined-up working that puts young people’s needs and aspirations at the centre”.

A core purpose of the Joined Up Summit is to share effective examples of cross sector initiatives that are making a difference for young people, to forge new partnerships, and drive collective action – ready to commit and galvanise a cross sector movement – The Joined Up Institute.

We want to hear from you: We’re looking to surface examples of great cross-sector work that’s already happening so please share your examples with us by Friday 20th September, 5pm, so we can work to collate and drive both the Joined Up Summit and the Joined Up Institute.

Please contact the Joined Up inbox with any questions you might have.

Joined Up Institute

UK Youth will be thrilled to announce the Joined Up Institute at the Joined Up Summit, taking place on 7th November in Birmingham.

The Joined Up Institute will be year-round cross-sector experiential learning institute, bringing together young people, practitioners and leaders from youth, education, business, employment, government, and civil society sectors to scale evidence of what works to transform outcomes for young people across the UK.

We’re currently in the early design stages for the Joined Up Institute that will convene young people and practitioners across sectors around challenges and opportunities raised at the Joined Up Summit.

Please contact the Joined Up inbox with any questions you might have or if you’re interested in partnering with us on this exciting project.
