Mother of the late Nigerian Music star, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, is insisting on an in-house resolution of the circumstances leading to the death of her son.

Abosode made this call in a recorded video capturing her at the Lagos Coroner’s Court on Wednesday.

The late singer’s mum was present to attend the ongoing investigation into her son’s death in 2023.

She noted that the family needed closure on the matter.

Abosode pleaded with the government to hands-off the matter and let the family handle it internally.

“I don’t want anybody to do anything and what his father says should be regarded as the final decision. I don’t want anybody to do anything. What I want is for them to go to church and mosque to pray for him (referring to Mohbad).

“This is because everything people are doing does not make sense. They did not make us (the family) happy. The mother and the father are not happy. We beg them (the government) in the name of God to let us be and allow our family to settle this case,” Abosede said.

Following the Singer’s death, the Lagos State Government had claimed to have flown Mohbad’s body to the National Medical Services Laboratories in Pennsylvania, United States of America, for toxicology tests.

These claims were refuted by the management of the laboratories.

Till date, the death of the Singer is clouded by controversies, with fans calling for a swift administration of justice on his alleged killers.
