Inspector Grey, who joined the police in 2005, said: “I’ve been really fortunate in my career to have worked across a range of different departments and areas, and have seen a lot of what we do, and what we can do.

“Having been the neighbourhood inspector in Burnley and Rossendale, I bring a lot of knowledge and experience of community policing and I’m here to make sure we are tackling the issues that matter most to our residents.

“I really look forward to getting to know and work with you to keep Pendle and the Ribble Valley safe. The best way we can do that is if you tell us what your concerns are.

“You can do this by signing up to Lancashire Talking, where you can also stay up to date and hear directly from our officers and PCSOs working within your community, www.stayintheknow.co.uk.

“I’m also mindful that being able to contact us is really important for residents – after all, we are a neighbourhood team here to tackle neighbourhood issues – so please do find your local officer and contact them (non-emergency only) by visiting https://www.lancashire.police.uk/your-area/east-division/pendle/ https://www.lancashire.police.uk/your-area/east-division/ribble-valley/ – remember, in an emergency it’s always 999.”
