A scarecrow festival is set to be held in Broughton this October.
Taking place from 21-25 October, it is being organised by Broughton in Amounderness Parish Council.
Announcing the scarecrow festival on its Facebook page, the parish council encouraged people to get involved.

It said: “From 21-25 October, we invite all Broughton residents, businesses, schools, groups, and organisations to get creative and craft your best scarecrows.
“All of those who register will be entered into a competition, with categories for best residential, best business [and] people’s favourite.
“Winners will be announced on Saturday, 26 October, at the Toll Bar Cottage.
“Let your imagination run wild and bring some autumn magic to our community.”
