Delezio, who came to national attention after two horrific accidents as a child, announced on her 23rd birthday that she was pregnant to her partner Joseph Salerno.
She was two years old in December 2003 when she survived a car crashing into the daycare centre where she was taking a nap.
She suffered third-degree burns to 90 per cent of her body and lost both feet, one of her hands and her ear.
Three years later, in May 2006, a driver blinded by the sun struck a stroller carrying Delezio in a second freak accident that almost killed her.
Her incredible journey has been closely followed by Australians and Delezio has made a career of keynote speaking.
