The intrigue surrounding the Doublekay duo on Big Brother Naija has captivated viewers throughout the season. With their close-knit bond and occasional secrecy, speculation about their relationship status has been a hot topic. Now, former housemates Fairme and Micky have shared their surprising insights on Doublekay .
Reflecting on their time in the house, Fairme revealed, “I had a feeling they were dating. I used to tease them, saying they were disguising themselves as besties. They always seemed to use lies to cover it up.” Fairme added that Kassia of Doublekay mentioned Kellyrae had once asked her out, but she had refused, which, combined with other inconsistencies, added to the suspicion of them dating.
Micky echoed Fairme’s observations but took it a step further. “I wasn’t shocked that they were dating, but I was surprised to learn they had been together for ten years before getting married,” he said.
Fairme admired the strategic edge Doublekay brought to the game. “It’s a smart strategy. Some viewers might actually enjoy the drama they bring and how they manage to keep their relationship hidden from the other housemates. It wouldn’t surprise me if one of them wins the show because of their strategy.”
Micky added, “It was really sweet coming outside to watch them sneaking to kiss, it shows they are watching their backs for real.”
