Part of Winckley Square will be closed to traffic throughout Sunday as the Encounter Festival takes over.
Six family shows take place in the Square throughout Sunday (22 September).
Preston City Council has confirmed Winckley Square south will be closed from 10am to 6pm on the Sunday.

A diversion will be place via Starkie Street and Ribblesdale Place.
Performances – which are all free to attend – run throughout Sunday and include dancers on Everywhere’s A Beach, calypso and ska performers Skiband, The Invisible Man roaming around Fishergate and Winckley Street, Magical Story Jars and more.
Alongside the Winckley Square entertainment the ‘Best of Lancashire’ music showcase takes place under Preston’s Covered Market at The Orchard from 1pm to 6pm.
