A woman has been left unable to go to the BBC Radio 2 In The Park after breaking her leg while walking around the outside of the festival site.
Karen Pettit, who lives close to the Moor Park site, had gone for a walk on Friday evening to soak up the atmosphere in the park as the Pre-Party took place.
The 44-year-old, who lives in Watling Street Road, said she ‘fell in a hole in the grass’ around 8pm on Friday.

Karen told Blog Preston: “I was excited for Radio 2 being in Preston and I have a ticket for the Saturday.
“My friend and I went for a walk around Moor Park to take a look at the festival site and soak up the atmosphere.
“As we were walking close to the site then I fell in a hole in the grass and went over on my left ankle.
“I put my right leg down to catch myself and this hit the edge of the hole and my leg has broken in two places.”
She said the hole was close to the car park at the Sir Tom Finney Way end of the festival site.
Karen spent Friday evening in Royal Preston Hospital, returning home shortly before 2am on Saturday (7 September).
She was taken to hospital by ambulance and says staff at the Radio 2 site gave her gas and air while she waited for paramedics to arrive.
Karen said: “I’ve never been so excited for a concert, especially being right here in the park so close to me.
“I am heartbroken I won’t get to go now and there’s nothing I can do about it. I’m in agony.
“I hope people watch their step and I will be reporting where it is so hopefully they can put a cone on it or some fencing up.”
