A woman has died after a tree branch fell on her in Sydney's south-west.
The woman, who is believed to be aged in her 60s but is yet to be formally identified, was hit by the branch on Castlereagh Street, Liverpool about 1pm.
Paramedics treated her at the scene, but she could not be revived.

Police are investigating the incident.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
It comes on a day of high winds in Sydney, with gusts of up to 89km/h recorded in Sydney Harbour.
