Clark has been training with a former professional golfer in preparation for the golf showdown.

The Indiana Fever point guard will be taking on the current world No. 1, Nelly Korda, and Annika Sorenstam, who is one of the best female golfers in history.

Clark has been receiving help from former LGPA player Matha Foyer-Faulconer.

Last week, she was playing golf with her boyfriend McCaffery and Foyer-Faulconer.

The 60-year-old Foyer-Faulconer played on the LGPA from 1987 to 1995.

A social media post shared by Foyer-Faulconer displayed a picture of Clark and McCaffery practicing at the Crooked Golf Stick Club.

And the photo showed McCaffery placing his left hand over Clark’s left eye while the basketball player pointed to the camera.

The session revealed that Clark’s right eye is her dominant eye.

During an interview with Golfweek’s Beth Ann Nichols, Foyer-Faulconer shared that Clark has the desire to be great at everything she attempts to do.

“It’s also part of her DNA,” Foyer-Faulconer said. “Because she’s going to do things well.

“She wants to be as good as she can in everything she touches.

“She’s very driven and passionate.

“It’s fun to work with her.

“Some of this stuff you can’t teach people. They just either have it or they don’t.”

After Clark’s 2024 season which saw her win Rookie of the Year, she joked about pursuing a career in pro golf.

While the comment would stay as a joke, she recently spoke to reporters about participating in the golf tournament.

“I love golf so the opportunity to play in the Pro-Am for a tournament with a legend like Annika Sorenstam’s name on it is so exciting,” Clark said.

“I’m looking forward to seeing all the LPGA players on the driving range, being part of the Women’s Leadership Summit, and, of course, teeing it up in the pro-am with Annika.”

Clark and McCaffery have been dating since April 2023.

The pair attended the University of Iowa.

Clark is the NCAA all-time leading score and McCaffery played on the men’s basketball team.

He is currently a team assistant for the Indiana Pacers.
