When did the viral TikTok trend start?

The Ghost Photoshoot trend, as it’s known over on TikTok, started back in 2020 with social media users dressing up as ghosts.

While the human trend quickly died off, the viral pet trend kicked off.

The original post received more than 75 million views – sparking the trend as we know it.

How to get your pooch involved?

If you’d like to sign your dog up to all the Halloween fun, all you need is a white bed sheet, camera, social media account and a copy of that song.

But before you get started, make sure your paw-pal is comfortable with a large sheet placed over their head.

Timid or nervous dogs won’t love having a sheet placed on them and might get stressed.

Cutting holes of eyes, ears and muzzles will help stop them feeling claustrophobic and stressed, however diffident dogs can react differently.

If you aren’t sure how your dog will react, you’re probably best off giving this Halloween a trend.
