Four free October half-term family events at The Guild Lounge

Preston’s Guild Lounge is hosting four events during the course of the October half-term.

The foyer venue in the building is running storytime, lantern-making workshops, Diwali decorating and crafting for children of all ages.

All events are free and with no booking required and you can drop-in anytime when the event is on.

Spooky Stories runs on Monday 21 October from 1.30pm to 3.30pm as professional storyteller Rogan Mills dares you to listen to his tales.

On Tuesday 22 October there’s lantern-making with a Diwali or Halloween theme on from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

During Wednesday 23 October there’s a dedicated Diwali decorating session from 1.30pm to 3.30pm and explore the crafts such as Diya decoration, Rangoli designs and Toran making.

And on Friday 25 October discover more about the Giant Scarf project with Football Craft. Again on from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

The Guild Lounge is located on the first floor of Preston Guild Hall in Lancaster Road.
