After landing at the Al Abraq Airport in Libya, the Super Eagles were left stranded for over 13 hours without any assistance from the host Libyan Football Federation.
A statement from the NFF communication department said the Super Eagles’ chartered aircraft was unexpectedly diverted to Al Abraq Airport, a small airport primarily used for hajj operations, instead of landing at the intended Benghazi Airport.
This unexpected diversion has left the players and officials fatigued and bewildered, as they have not received any reception or transportation to their hotel, which is reportedly a 3-hour drive away in Benghazi.

<a href="https://www.mtlblog.com/food-recalls-quebec-tuna-baby-food-chocolate" target="_blank">Health Canada has issued a recall notice</a> for a shampoo sold at Sephora and salons across the country due to a "microbial hazard," meaning the product may be <a href="https://www.mtlblog.com/salmonella-outbreak-pastry-recall-canada" target="_blank">contaminated with bacteria</a> that could pose a health risk.
</p><p> According to <a href="https://recalls-rappels.canada.ca/en/alert-recall/amika-mirrorball-high-shine-protect-antioxidant-shampoo-recalled-due-microbial" target="_blank">Health Canada</a>, the recalled shampoo may contain <em>Plurabacter gergoviae</em>, a type of bacteria that "poses little medical risk to healthy individuals" but could be problematic for those with compromised immune systems. The government agency warns that individuals with certain health conditions may also be at an increased risk of infection if they use the recalled product.
</p><p> The consumer recall applies to haircare brand amika's entire Mirrorball High Shine + Protect Antioxidant Shampoo lineup. All sizes and lots purchased in 2023 or 2024 are affected, including:

</p><p> As of January 27, 2025, the manufacturer had received 48 reports in Canada of a foul odour associated with the shampoo along with two reports of irritation or allergic reactions. However, <a href="https://loveamika.ca/pages/recall" target="_blank">amika has stated</a> that "there have been no reported serious adverse health events associated with using this product."
</p><p> Amika says it initiated the recall after identifying quality control issues at a third-party manufacturing site and is voluntarily removing the product from shelves "out of an abundance of caution."
</p><p> "We want to reassure you that, after consultation with an independent toxicology group, we are confident the use of this product does not pose a serious health or safety risk to healthy people," the company said in a statement.
</p><p> While only the shampoo is being recalled, the company acknowledges that many people may have purchased it as part of a set with the Mirrorball conditioner, so it is offering refunds for both products in those cases.

<span></span>While Sephora has already pulled the recalled shampoo from its website, other products in the Mirrorball lineup — including the conditioner — are still available for purchase.
</p><p> Health Canada says that the affected lots of shampoo were sold in Canada between May 2023 and November 2024, with approximately 95,000 units sold in Canada.

<span></span>If you have one of the affected products, amika says you should stop using it immediately and return it to the store where you bought it for a full refund. If you didn't buy it from a brick-and-mortar store, you can also <a href="https://www.rqa-inc.com/client/BanskCons/" target="_blank">fill out a form</a> with some information, including a photo of your shampoo bottle, for a refund from the company directly.
</p><p> Amika says it is reformulating the shampoo and expects the updated version to be available at retailers around or before April 2025 once it has been produced and thoroughly tested.
