However, the Georgia native is also one of the most controversial athletes in the league following his divisive commencement speech to Benedictine College graduates in May.

The kicker, whom the public knew for having two children, used the platform to call out abortion, Pride Month and other cultural issues.

The NFL star also told female graduates to “lean into their vocation” as wives and mothers and said males should “fight against the cultural emasculation of men.”

The Chiefs ace doubled down on those contentious remarks during an interview with conservative TV presenter Laura Ingraham and casually revealed that he and wife Isabelle welcomed their third child.

Butker told The Ingraham Angle: “I was trying to speak life for so many women that have dedicated their life to being the homemaker, being the one that raises the children.

“I know it may be countercultural to speak those values … but I was also experience my wife now that we have three children, being able to be present with the children, the amazing bond we have.”

Butker’s address drew ire from many inside the NFL, including senior vice president Jonathan Beane.

The controversial commencement speech also led to a reaction from other sports stars.

Tennis legend Serena Williams was among those to condemn Butker’s remarks.

Serena and sister Venus Williams told the NFL star “we don’t need you” as they hosted the ESPYs in July.

That happened in front of Butker who was watching on in the audience.
