Longridge Road re-opens after crash between car and motorbike

A road between Grimsargh and Ribbleton was shut due to a crash.

Preston Police had closed off Longridge Road close to Preston Crematorium in both directions.

The crash, which involves a car and a motorbike, took place at 10.52am.

A police spokesperson confirmed the biker involved has been taken to hospital.

Longridge Road was shut between Rough Hey Road and the Bluebell Way roundabout but re-opened around 12.30pm.

North West Ambulance Service were also in attendance.
