There were lane closures in place on the M55 and heavy delays as a result of a car fire.
Police were called at around 4.45pm to the scene of a car fire close the junction two on the M55 on the eastbound carriageway.
The eastbound carriageway is seeing delays of thirty minutes on top of normal travel time, while there are delays westbound – though traffic is moving and lane closures have been lifted.

A spokesperson for police aid: “We want to let you know that M55 J2 Eastbound is currently experiencing heavy delays due to a vehicle catching fire.
“We anticipate that the delays will be in place for a short while. We’ll update you here once the motorway is cleared.”
