Man charged after burglary in Ashton-on-Ribble

A man has been charged after a burglary in Ashton-on-Ribble in July.

Preston Police were called to a break-in at a property in Mulgrave Avenue at 5.30am on Sunday 28 July.

Items including iPads, clothing, golf clubs and cash were taken.

Paul Allen, 48, of Meadow Bank, Preston, has been charged with burglary in a dwelling, theft from a motor vehicle and fraud by false representation.

He is due to appear ‘before the next available court’ according to police.
