A man has been arrested on suspicion of multiple offences after what appeared to be an attempted ram-raid in Preston.
Police were called at around 5.30pm yesterday (September 30) to reports a van had been driven into the front of Whittles on Fishergate.
The van did extensive damage before footage shared with Blog Preston shows a man step in and appeared to bravely refuse to allow the raid to continue.

The person did not sustain any injuries as a result and nothing was stolen.
The van then flees the scene but police have now arrested a man in connection with the incident.
A 38-year-old man from Preston has been arrested on suspicion of robbery, dangerous driving, driving while unfit through drink or drugs, failing to provide a breath test and assault on police.
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting log 0980 of September 30.
The ram-raid comes just two days after the jewellers announced they are due to rebrand as Loupe UK.
