The wait is over! Netflix is back with the second edition of Lights, Camera… Naija!, is set for November 2, 2024, in Lagos. This exclusive event will once again spotlight Nollywood’s finest, celebrating the trailblazers, behind-the-scenes heroes, and the on-screen stars who make the industry shine.
This year’s theme, Pioneers, Pillars, and Players, will pay tribute to the legends who laid the foundation of Nollywood, the off-screen masterminds—directors, producers, and crew members—who keep it running, and the vibrant actors who captivate audiences worldwide.
Following the success of last year’s event, which featured performances by Chike, Niniola, and DJ Sose, this year promises even more stars, electrifying performances, and, of course, the iconic Netflix red carpet.
Mark your calendars—Nollywood’s night of nights is almost here!

The new store, located on Hochelaga Street, will officially open its doors on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 10 a.m., according to owner Marie-Ève Breton, who <a href="https://www.narcity.com/fr/montreal/liquidation-marie-montreal-ouverture-2025" target="_blank">confirmed the news to Narcity Québec</a>.</p><p>At 5,300 square feet, the new Montreal location will be about the same size as Liquidation Marie's largest store in Saint-Jérôme.</p><p>Unlike traditional grocery stores, Liquidation Marie's offerings change constantly based on arrivals, meaning every visit brings new surprises and savings.</p><p>"More stores mean I can buy in bulk and get better prices," Breton recently explained to Narcity Québec. "For example, before I bought a box, now I can buy a pallet. That makes a big difference," she said.</p><blockquote class="instagram-media" data-instgrm-permalink="https://www.instagram.com/p/DIQHLr0u2KT/" data-instgrm-version="4" style="background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:658px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);">

That means customers can score seriously discounted fruits, vegetables, meat, cheese, frozen foods, and more.</p><p>"Everything has gotten so expensive!" Breton said. That's really my thinking — if I can sell it really cheap, I will." </p><p>Finally, Liquidation Marie assures customers that even with the rock-bottom prices, all food sold meets the standards set by <a href="https://www.mtlblog.com/tag/mapaq-fines" target="_blank">Quebec's Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ</a>), guaranteeing consumer safety.</p><h3>Liquidation Marie (Montreal)</h3><br/><blockquote class="instagram-media" data-instgrm-captioned="" data-instgrm-permalink="https://www.instagram.com/p/DI5LCxMx1-s/" data-instgrm-version="4" style="background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:658px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);">
