A Preston venue is getting set to host its first beer festival, featuring some of the North West’s best independent breweries.

The Chew’s Yard Preston Beer Festival, in collaboration with Thornbridge and Escapade, will take place on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 November.

The line-up of breweries includes Thornbridge Brewery, Black Lodge Brewing, Chain House Brewing Co, Cloudwater Brewing Co, Farm Yard Brew Co, Jim Brew Brewing Co, Lakes Brew Co, Rivington Brewing Co, Sureshot Brewing, and Weekend Project.

“We have secured an amazing line-up for our first beer festival,” said Frank Whiteley, Chew’s Yard’s Operations Manager.

“We celebrate individuality and collaboration at Chew’s Yard, the venue is home to five independent food vendors and drinks traders and features multiple bars operated by Thornbridge and Escapade.

“The people of Preston have responded really positively to what we are offering and we, together with Thornbridge and Escapade wanted to whet their appetite further with the introduction of the beer festival. This inaugural, and hopefully yearly, beer festival will showcase the best breweries that the North West has to offer.”
