TINY home enthusiasts may now purchase a house for under $10,000.
Amazon is selling what it describes as a “modern” tiny home, and it’s priced at $9,600.

The tiny house comes from the brand Generic and measures 20-feet by 40-feet.
Each home is expandable and comes prefabricated.
Prefabricated, or prefab, is when the materials are manufactured in sections for easy assembly on site.
The Amazon description reads, “Quickly set up and take down this compact, self-contained living solution for off-grid adventures, construction sites, or emergency situations.”
Another perk the brand revealed is its warranty.
The home is backed by a three-year warranty and lifetime maintenance.
“We’re a 30-year-old machinery manufacturer, offering personalized guidance from our expert technical team for swift machine operation mastery. Our dedicated after-sales support swiftly addresses shipping, delivery, or any other concerns,” the company said.
While the brand is called Generic, just note that it’s sold and ships from YuGong Machinery.
HAPPY HOMES
Amazon isn’t the only retailer selling tiny homes.
Walmart and Home Depot are a few others who started offering the lifestyle alternative.
Walmart is selling a contemporary home by the brand Well Done 1 Home Kits for $25,895.
The tiny home measures 12 x 8 x 16 feet and comes with a structurally fabricated, light-weight steel-stud frame primed for paint.
Shoppers can also expect to see insulation, walls and ceiling panels, trim, and baseboards.
Home Depot is also selling a Rose Cottage tiny home for $26,499 delivered right to your door.
According to the retailer’s website, it’s “pre-assembled steel panels make for a “hassle-installation.”
The home is made of “high-quality steel,” making it durable and weather-resistant.
And it’s “termite and shrink-proof” features make it easy to maintain.

WHAT MAKES A TINY HOME?
Tiny homes may be considered a gray area in some states and cities as regulations differ.
However, like all homes in America, each one must be built to code.
Some restrictions may include a minimum ceiling height of 6 feet, 8 inches, at least one bathroom, and at least two means of escape in case of a fire or other emergency.
