Police are investigating an attack on a teacher at a Fulwood high school by a pupil.

A 12-year-old boy is understood to have punched and set upon a female teacher during a class at Our Lady’s Catholic High School in St Anthony’s Drive.

The attack took place during Wednesday 20 November and Blog Preston understands a number of other teachers had to restrain the boy.

A spokesperson for police told Blog Preston: “The allegation is that a 12-year-old (male) pupil punched and kicked a (female) teacher in a class. It’s been reported and is under investigation.”

No arrests have been made.

Blog Preston has approached Lancashire County Council, as the local authority with responsibility for the school, for comment.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 and quote log 0441 of Nov 20.
