Publix will be closing at 9 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.
And on New Year’s Day, Publix will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Customers can take advantage of discounted items and remaining inventory and benefit from special holiday deals, which can produce significant revenue for retailers.
Retailers know that some customers might need to purchase essentials for New Year’s Eve celebrations or the following days.
Many retailers feel that if other stores in their area are open, they might feel pressure to stay open as well to not lose potential customers. Despite this sentiment, some retailers are closing shop for the holiday.
Aldi will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on New Year’s Eve for last-minute grocery shopping.
