An incident that closed a key route out of Preston was safely resolved.
The Guild Way flyover was closed on Friday (20 December) evening from around 7.30pm until around 10.30pm due to a concern for safety incident.
Police thanked the public for their patience while traffic was diverted towards Preston Docks.
Lancashire Constabulary told Blog Preston today that the incident was resolved safely and without injuries.
A spokesperson for police said: “We let you know earlier that Guild Way Flyover had closed due to a concern for safety.
“We can now let you know that the road is open for you to travel. Thank you again for your patience and drive safely on your onward journey. “
