A new bridal studio and cafe have opened their doors in Grimsargh.
Run by Liam Mulligan and his partner Melissa Cooper, Feathers and Florence and Gaia café are located on Preston Road at its junction with Nook Glade, opposite the village green.
Feathers and Florence is a wedding dress shop that caters for brides-to-be and has relocated after outgrowing its former premises at Stonebridge Mill, Longridge.

Paul said the addition of a cafe allowed him and Melissa to enhance the experience for brides and their ‘entourage’, as well as serving the community of Grimsargh on a day-to-day basis.
He added: “The wedding dress is the most self-expressive garment they will ever buy and that experience of choosing a dress has progressed to becoming an experience.
“We wanted a space we could design ourselves and a building that formed itself around us. And that is what we have found.”
Feathers and Florence had been in Longridge for the past three years, but as the lease came to an end and the business continued to grow, the couple were looking for something with more space and closer to the motorway.
Paul said: “90 per cent of our customers come from outside Lancashire so access to the motorway was key for us.
“With brides wanting an experience, this building allows us to provide that for them and their groups.”
The building itself was a former Chinese restaurant which has undergone extensive renovation. Gaia café will be open to the public from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Monday to Friday, and 9am to 4pm on Saturdays and serves takeaway coffee and fresh doughnuts supplied by Holy Grounds near Avenham Park.
