A person was left with minor injuries after a crash in Lostock Hall.
Officers from Lancashire Constabulary were called to Watkin Lane at around 7pm last night (16 December) to reports of a crash.
They found that a car had flipped onto its roof and therefore the road needed to be closed so the vehicle could be recovered.

Lancashire Constabulary confirmed to Blog Preston this morning that any injuries sustained in the crash could be described as minor.
A spokesperson for police said last night: “We want to update you and let you know that Watkin Lane between junctions of Jubilee Road and Victoria Street in (Lostock Hall, near) Preston is currently closed due to a road traffic collision.
“We anticipate that the road will be closed for some time, whilst we assess the situation.
“In the meantime, we’d recommend delaying your journey or looking for an alternative route and driving carefully, leaving plenty of extra time to get to your destination.”
