Three Australian Defence Force soldiers have been arrested on a string of charges over their alleged involvement in a drug trafficking syndicate.

A Queensland Police investigation led to the arrests of the three 23-year-olds in Townsville.

Police said cash was seized, alleging the money was intended to buy drugs to be sold for profit.
