A teenager who died after falling from a rope swing on the Gold Coast has been named as a man who would "do anything to help others".
Manaia Tither-Asiata, 18, fell 15 metres down an embankment of the Coomera River, near Riverbreeze Crescent in Maudsland, at about 6.40pm on Sunday.
The former Men of Business Academy student was using a makeshift rope swing in the rural area.

Emergency services tried to revive him, but he was declared dead at the scene.
He's also being remembered as a budding musician.
He graduated from the Southport school, which helps teens get back on track, just weeks ago.
"Over these two years I've grown in ways I couldn't have fathomed," he said in a graduation speech posted on Instagram by the school.
The Gold Coast mayor Tom Tate has said changes are needed at the notoriously dangerous spot.
"It'll be investigated, and the rope's got to come down," Tate said.
Police are treating his death as the result of a non-suspicious accident.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
