WALMART customers must plan ahead for any last-minute gifts after a major hours change.
The retail giant is offering deals and discounts online and in-store for last-minute gifts but will operate on a limited basis around Christmas.

While Walmart’s 4,606 locations nationwide will still open at the normal time of 6 AM on Christmas Eve, they will close early at 6 PM.
Although it can vary by location and state, typical Walmart business hours are 6 AM to 11 PM.
That means shopping time will be cut by a whopping five hours.
Additionally, Walmart will shutter all of its locations for 24 hours on Christmas Day.
The move is made by the retailer to give employees time to spend with loved ones on the holiday.
Shoppers should use the Walmart store locator tool to check the exact holiday hours for the location nearest them.
Each should have a small section listing the adjusted times.
The same process will be seen with several competitors.
TARGET TOO
Target is also closing its 1,963 stores for the entire day on December 25.
It will also feature limited store hours on Christmas Eve from 7 AM to 8 PM but could vary by state and store.
Fortunately, on December 23, Target stores will remain open until midnight for any very last-minute gifts.
Consumers who still decide to wait for any gifts on Christmas will have no luck at several other major companies in what is effectively a retail blackout on the holiday.
Costco, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and even discount chains like Dollar Tree, Dollar General, and Family Dollar will be closed on December 25.
Prominent department stores like Macy’s, Nordstrom Rack, Burlington, and Kohl’s will also be unavailable.

Still, some stores are willing to save the day for desperate Christmas shoppers.
Bravo Supermarkets, Giant, Duane Reade, CVS, and select Walgreens stores are open for business on December 25.
Casey’s General Store, Cumberland Farms, and even Starbucks are also part of the open list.
Several convenience stores and gas stations like Circle K, Wawa, and 7-Eleven will also be accessible to consumers on Christmas Day.
Americans should also remain aware of the shipping deadlines for USPS, UPS, and FedEx to get holiday gifts to arrive on time.
There are also at least four ways to ensure you don’t put yourself in a financial hole this Christmas shopping for gifts, according to a financial expert.
