Forbes has released its annual ranking of Canada’s Best Employers for 2025, and plenty of Quebec-based companies earned a spot on the list.
Published on January 21, the ranking is based on a survey of over 40,000 employees across the country who work at companies with at least 500 staff members. To determine the results, participants were asked about factors like salary, flexibility, career growth opportunities, and workplace training programs.
Of the 300 employers highlighted, 28 employers in Quebec made the cut. Meanwhile, 16 brands across la belleprovince cracked the top 200.
Top Quebec Companies on the List
Leading the way toward the top of the rankings are familiar names like Hydro-Québec, Concordia University, and Desjardins, representing industries like utilities, education, and finance.
Meanwhile, multiple healthcare centres, such as the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal, CHU Sainte-Justine, and Jewish General Hospital were also highlighted among the province’s top employers.
