Hello, my name is Alice, from Fulwood, and I have been working with Blog Preston for just over a month now.
Earlier this month, I released a new podcast about all things mental health, in particular eating disorders and trauma recovery.
This idea of creating a podcast has come from my desire to share a story.

Although recently, I have been sharing stories for the past months with Blog Preston and my BA Hons Journalism Course at UCLan, I want to share my story as I know the impact it can bring to someone who is struggling.
My main aim of becoming a journalist and creating this podcast is to allow people to use their voice and provide a platform for them to speak up about what they think is right and what they believe in.
The podcast will contain recent experiences in my life with Anorexia Nervosa, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and how, at such a young age, I was able to mentally survive the Manchester Arena terror attack.
If any of these topics affect you, please watch with caution.
The weekly uploads will vary in topic and contain guests who have either helped and supported me along the way or who want to share their own stories.
I wish to allow all to have a platform to speak up or feel comforted through mental health battles because no one should have to suffer alone.
If you are interested in getting involved in this new podcast or have a topic you wish to share you can contact me on Instagram here.
Also you can give it a listen here.
