A Channel Seven identity charged with more than 70 serious offences has been committed to stand trial on 12 charges, including one count of rape.
While a raft of the charges were dismissed, the woman is also facing Magistrates Court proceedings for another dozen offences, alongside her partner and co-accused.
A magistrate had been deliberating over whether to commit the Queensland couple, who can not be identified, on serious charges.
The pair was charged in 2023 after appearing together on a high profile show on Channel Seven.
The woman was charged with more than 70 offences including rape and torture.
Today she was committed to stand trial in a district court on 12 offences including one count of rape and charges of unlawfully and indecently assaulting children.
The magistrate dismissed dozens of other charges and said there was little to no evidence to back up some of the allegations.
The woman was visibly emotional during the court proceedings and stayed silent as she left.
The couple will face a summary trial in the Magistrates Court in April for assault offences.
The District Court trial will be held in Brisbane at a date yet to be set.
